This ETF is different from traditional ETFs. Traditional ETFs tell the public what assets they hold each day. This ETF will not. This may create additional risks for your investment. Expand for more info.
  • You may have to pay more money to trade the ETF’s shares. This ETF will provide less information to traders, who tend to charge more for trades when they have less information.
  • The price you pay to buy ETF shares on an exchange may not match the value of the ETF’s portfolio. The same is true when you sell shares. These price differences may be greater for this ETF compared to other ETFs because it provides less information to traders.
  • These additional risks may be even greater in bad or uncertain market conditions.
  • The ETF will publish on its website each day a “Proxy Portfolio” designed to help trading in shares of the ETF. While the Proxy Portfolio includes some of the ETF’s holdings, it is not the ETF’s actual portfolio.

The differences between this ETF and other ETFs may also have advantages. By keeping certain information about the ETF secret, this ETF may face less risk that other traders can predict or copy its investment strategy. This may improve the ETF’s performance. If other traders are able to copy or predict the ETF’s investment strategy, however, this may hurt the ETF’s performance. For additional information regarding the unique attributes and risks of the ETF, see the Principal Risks section of the prospectus.

Thrivent Asset Management has been honored with two Refinitiv Lipper Fund Awards this year for Thrivent Mid Cap Stock Fund. The Lipper Awards recognize the performance of funds and fund management firms over three-, five-, and 10-year periods annually around the globe.

Thrivent Mid Cap Stock Fund, Class S (TMSIX), was named 2022 winner U.S. Best Mid-Cap Core Fund over the past five years and U.S. Best Mid-Cap Core Fund over the last 10 years performance periods (out of 234 and 150 funds, respectively, ending November 30, 2021).

“Thrivent Mid Cap Stock Fund has a history of strong performance and we’re proud to again be honored by Refinitiv Lipper,” said David Royal, executive vice president and chief investment officer at Thrivent. “Our talented investment professionals follow a disciplined investment process in order to deliver investment solutions that help our clients achieve financial clarity and live purposeful and meaningful lives. This award is a wonderful recognition of our commitment to excellence.”

“It takes an incredible team of investment professionals to create performance that leads to distinguished awards like Refinitiv Lipper,” said Brian Flanagan, portfolio manager of Thrivent Mid Cap Stock Fund. “Our investment process at Thrivent is grounded in bottom-up stock selection, research, portfolio construction and risk management, and I’m grateful to work with talented colleagues who bring their best ideas and recommendations to the table.”

Thrivent Mutual Funds began offering its funds online with no sales load (Class S) in February 2016. The funds are also offered through Thrivent financial advisors and other investment professionals around the country.

The Thrivent mutual funds are supported by a team of more than 130 investment professionals who take a long-term, disciplined approach in all phases of investment management including stock selection, portfolio construction and risk management.

For more than three decades, these awards have recognized funds and fund management firms for their consistently strong risk-adjusted three-, five-, and 10-year performance relative to their peers. Based on Lipper’s quantitative, proprietary methodology, the awards reflect a truly independent and uncompromised assessment of fund performance.

Thrivent Mutual Funds received these honors at the annual the Refinitiv Lipper Fund Awards gala in New York City on March 10.

Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.

The Refinitiv Lipper Fund Awards, granted annually, highlight funds and fund companies that have excelled in delivering consistently strong risk-adjusted performance relative to their peers. The Refinitiv Lipper Fund Awards are based on the Lipper Leader for Consistent Return rating, which is a risk-adjusted performance measure calculated over 36, 60 and 120 months. The fund with the highest Lipper Leader for Consistent Return (Effective Return) value in each eligible classification wins the Refinitiv Lipper Fund Award. Inflation, the Fed, and falling stocks marked 2022

2022 was the year of inflation and the Federal Reserve (Fed). The combination of the two – rising prices and a tightening monetary policy – contributed to a slowing economy, rapidly rising interest rates, and significant losses in the stock market. The war in Ukraine also contributed to global economic adversity, particularly in Europe.
